The Wayfinding Centre works with built environment professionals to promote accessibility and inclusion across transport and the public realm.
By combining professional expertise with lived experience, we help organisations better understand the barriers people with disabilities can face and support the development of more inclusive spaces, services and infrastructure.
Technical Masterclass
Our Technical Masterclass is an interactive workshop for local authorities, engineers, designers and industry professionals. It focuses on applying accessibility and Universal Design principles to transport and public realm projects.
Co-delivered by people with lived experience of disability, the workshop explores how people navigate public spaces and how design decisions can either create or remove barriers to access.
Participants cover key areas including accessibility standards, pedestrian environments, wayfinding and transport infrastructure. Through discussion and practical activities, participants explore real-world accessibility challenges and how to translate them into better design outcomes.
This is a half day workshop and has been CPD approved by Engineers Ireland.

Inclusive Consultation and Communication
We offer workshops to help organisations build the skills and confidence needed to engage meaningfully with people with disabilities.
This workshop focuses on practical approaches to accessible communication, planning inclusive consultations and events and developing accessible information and resources.
Participants explore how to remove barriers to participation and ensure that people with disabilities can contribute effectively throughout planning, design, and decision-making processes.
