Transport Accessibility Panel
We aim to make The Wayfinding Centre a welcoming community space that brings people together to improve transport accessibility and inclusion.
The Transport Accessibility Panel (TAP) is a network of people who want to stay connected with the work of The Wayfinding Centre and contribute to improving transport accessibility and mobility in Ireland.
The panel is open to everyone, including people with disabilities, transport professionals, community organisations, researchers and anyone with an interest in accessible transport.
Access Ambassador Programme
The Access Ambassador Programme brings together people with lived experience of disability to help shape the work of The Wayfinding Centre. They play a central role in our activities through sharing their experiences and perspectives.
Depending on their interests and experience, Access Ambassadors may take part in:
- Co-delivering training sessions
- User testing activities
- Research and co-design projects
- Centre events and tours
By placing lived experience at the heart of our work, Access Ambassadors help ensure that services, spaces and systems are shaped by the people who use them.
We welcome expressions of interest from people with lived experience of navigating transport with an access requirement who are passionate about improving accessibility for others.
