On Friday 17th of October, The Wayfinding Centre will be hosting a series of tours as part of this year’s Open House Dublin Festival of Architecture.
These tours will allow you to visit and explore the former “Smurfit Kappa Ireland Printworks” in Glasnevin, which has been reimagined as a world leading transport and mobility training centre. This amazing building is now dedicated to empowering people with disabilities to be able to travel independently, and also constitutes as a hub for the training of professionals such as architects, transport operators, designers, students and engineers.
The tour – “Unlocking Mobility: A tour of The Wayfinding Centre” will be running from 12:30pm and throughout the day in intervals of 1hr each until the last tour at 4:00pm will be for visitors to be able to learned about how we are working towards unlocking mobility for all alongside our Access Ambassadors and to also learn about the history of this magnificent building.
